Young Explorers’ Club

The Missouri River Bird Observatory hosts a super fun summer day camp for all the young explorers in the Arrow Rock area!

Each week we explore a new topic related to the natural world! Topics will include Missouri’s native plants, aquatic life, mammals, birds, reptiles and amphibians. Explorers will learn outdoor skills as well as interact with the nature that surrounds us!

Who: Register if you are are a Young Explorer between the ages of 8-11! Parents are welcome to stay for the activities.

To make sure every child has a quality experience, we are limiting the number of participants to 12 each day, so sign up soon!

When 2018: Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday mornings (8:30 – 11:30 A.M.) each week from May 29th – July 26th. (No camp on July 4th or July 11th) This year we will be hosting a family camping night at the ARSHS campground! Date for camping is TBD.

Where: The Observatory is located in Arrow Rock, MO.

Cost: $5 for each day you sign up. You can register for every week or for only a few days! (Cost includes a mid-morning snack and reusable MRBO water bottle!) This year we will be giving a discount of three days (one week) free to any camper who registers for the entire summer.
