Young Explorers’ Camp

The Missouri River Bird Observatory hosts a super fun summer day camp for all the young explorers in the area! The summer of 2020 will be our fourth year of this amazing experience.

The camp’s programs and activities are focused on exploration, improving observational and outdoor skills, encouraging critical thinking, increasing knowledge of Missouri’s native species, physical activities and, of course, having fun! Most of our activities fall under the STEAM learning practices and can further reinforce concepts your student is learning in school! Our campers have fun and go home with new knowledge and new friendships.

Who: Register if you are are a Young Explorer between the ages of 8-11! Parents are welcome to stay for the activities.

To make sure every child has a quality experience, we are limiting the number of participants to around 12 each day, so sign up soon!
