christmas_bird_count_webinar

State Ornithologist Sarah Kendrick will join MRBO’s Ethan Duke for a look at the the Christmas Bird Count (CBC), a 121-year-old community volunteer program to document bird populations. It is an early-winter bird census, where thousands of volunteers across the U.S., Canada, and many countries in the Western Hemisphere go out over a 24-hour period on one calendar day to count birds.  Come learn about the intriguing history of the CBC and how you can get involved in a count, no matter your level of experience!
