Get Back to Nature Classes at SCCC

Join the founders of the Saline County based Missouri River Bird Observatory for a journey through our county’s natural history, wildlife ecology and resource conservation. Learn about the historic landscapes of Saline County and the wide variety of animals that can still be found here today. This class offers five sessions which will cover everything from identifying local wildlife, to what you can do to conserve our local natural resources in Saline County.

Sessions 1, 2 & 3: Topics covered will include ecology, plants and  animals found in Saline county.

Sessions 4 & 5: Topics covered will include Missouri Conservation Policy and the class will travel throughout Saline County to homes and large scale acreages in Saline County to observe good conservation practices.

Time: 5:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
Dates: Tuesdays: February 19, 26, March 5, 12, 1

Fee: $25 for 5 sessions
Registration Deadline: February 12
