*We will no longer be banding birds at the event due to the weather conditions. It is unsafe for the birds to be caught in the net and handled when it is this cold. There will still be other bird activities going on, so we hope to see you there!

Join MDC and MRBO on December 17th, from 11am – 2pm at the Anita B. Gorman Conservation Discovery Center in Kansas City. This event is for ages 7 and up. Walk-ins are welcome and you can come whenever it fits your schedule! MRBO will be banding song birds that may be visiting the Discovery Center’s feeders while MDC will be discussing all kinds of interesting information on our backyard birds! Bring all your questions about bird beaks, feet, colors, habitats and more!
